Our Ministries
Ushers
Men, women and youth serve as ushers during Sunday worship by handing out bulletins, assisting in seating, collecting the offering, assisting during communion and other duties as assigned.
Assisting Ministers
The main role of the Assisting Minister in the worship service is that of intercessor, a person to lead the congregation in prayer. He or she is the person who prays for the concerns of the whole world, the church on earth and the people gathered to worship. The Assisting Minister assists with the celebration of the sacraments and also participates in the celebration of baptism.
Lectors
Volunteers read the lessons during our Sunday worship service.
Altar Guild
Two to four members serve each month to prepare communion, as well as other necessary preparations for the Sunday worship service and other special services. They also prepare the sanctuary for the different seasons of the church year.
